| I'm on Spring Break right now. I went to Chicago last Sunday with my friends Chrissy, Sara, and Emily. It was quite an adventure let me tell you. lol. We got stuck on the Indiana Loop for about two hrs because we missed our exit. After about 10 hrs, we finally made it to Chicago. We stayed in Jon's apartment and watch Are You Afraid of the Dark. I can't believe that show use to scare me when I was little. On Monday, the girls and me went to the Schuamburg mall. That mall was crazy, it had 3 levels. Tuesday, we actually went to downtown Chicago. We went to the Field Museum, Navy Pier, met Sue, rode a public bus, and did some window shopping. We had two guys blow kisses at us and a guy tried to feel Emily up. On the way home on Wednesday, a truck drive almost ran me over. I was going 80 on the highway and he was still on my butt. Sara even made up her own cuss word! Good times let me tell you. I hope everyone else is enjoying their spring break. | | |
| Hey everyone! It has been a month since I last posted. Not much has happened. I have been busy with school and work. For some reason, I have had hw every night this quarter. I'm not use to doing so much work. Oh well it keeps me out of trouble. lol. If you want to come to my apartment and visit me, just call my cell. | | |
| Happy New Year everyone!!!! I hope your holidays were great and that all your families are well. My Christmas wasn't too bad. I wish it could have been a white Christmas. I received a bread maker (I'm already baking up a storm!), season 1 of Bones (I'm obsessed), tons of gift cards for Barnes and Noble and Starbucks, and other items. Little David kept my family entertained on Christmas day. He danced to music on his little CD player! I was crying because I was laughing so hard. I'm heading back to my apartment today. I loved being home for the past 6 weeks, but I miss my college friends. If anyone wants to stop by my apartment, just call my cell. I still have parties on Thursday nights!! I hope 2007 will be a good year for everyone. I pray that no one close to my friends or my family dies this year. | | |
| Man its been over a month since my last post. I have been busy with tests and finals. I only have two papers and a math final then i'm done! I'll be done this Wednesday and I'll have 6 weeks of freedom. Over break, I'm going to O'Ney's with Chrissy, sleep in , and hopefully a trip with the girls to Chicago. Now I have some sad news. As you guys know, my Aunt Kathie has breast cance. I found out about a week ago that her cancer is stage 4. She has had stage 4 cancer for at least 6 months and I just now found out about it. Could you guys please pray for her. The doctors are hopefully and are telling her that the lumps have gone down some, but the cancer is throughout her body. | | |
| Today in my Art and the Child class, we got to cut a piece of black paper and arrange it on a white piece of paper. After we where finished, my teacher asked the class to put their designs on the table infront of him. Then he started to describe the person's personality by looking at their design. He pointed to my design and said "This person is a sweetheart. Boys if you date this girl, hold on to her tight. If I was young, I would marry her myself ." I turned bright red when my teacher said this. So guess what... I'm a sweetheart and a keeper! | | |
